August 2001: For something completely different, Pat Ferdinandi worked with The Oasis Sanctuary Foundation
to develop a personalized parrot care guide for temporary and permanent transfer. She used the Requirements Set
Framework and Pattern to obtain all the information (requirements) that lead to the top quality 36 page booklet.
This was the first non-Information Technology project to use SBDi's approach to
requirements engineering. As with other projects, this approach improved the time to market by capturing a
complete set of requirements efficiently.
