SBDi reduces the risk of missed business opportunities, reduced return
on investment, and displeased users and customers that are affected
by poor quality software. SBDi accomplishes this in by supporting
their clients through consulting and training in three primary areas:
- Requirements Engineering - the development and management of a common understanding between the end users and the solution providers.
- Program and Project Management are two separate level 2 (repeatable) Key Process Areas (KPAs) of the Capability Maturity Model (CMM).
- Software Process Improvement encompasses the assessment, elicitation, definition, development, practical implementation and training of key processes that will improve the quality of software systems.
